Greater Media NJ WRAT 95.9
WRAT (95.9FM) and WJRZ (100.1FM) are currently seeking interns for the Spring 2008 and Summer 2008 semesters! Interns will work in the Promotions/Marketing department, with potential opportunities in the Sales, Production, and Engineering departments. They will also be exposed to all aspects of running a commercial radio station, learning from some of the best in the industry. Internship responsibilities include assisting in the following:
o Preparation and execution of sales and station promotional appearances and events.
o Creation of new promotional and marketing approaches.
o Daily tasks in the studio offices.

WCBS AM 880 Internship
WCBS-AM 880 offer internships three times a year. Students who are majoring in Journalism, Communications, Business or Marketing will be considered for this program.
Internship Positions
WCBS-AM offers an opportunity for students to apply classroom concepts to practical work experience. Our internship program allows students to experience firsthand the reality of working in the radio broadcasting industry. Interns can test their creative talent, exercise their analytical skills and increase their understanding of broadcasting operations and trends. Internships are available during the fall, spring and summer, and are required at least 16 hours per week, with specific days and times agreed upon in advance. All interns must be enrolled in a College or University and receiving college credit. Students are expected to obtain and complete any forms necessary to receive credit for the internship experience. Internships are available in the following departments: Programming, News Room/ Production, Sales, Sports Dept.
