Internships are great ways to gain work experience, transferable skills, and learn about different industries.
Tips for Getting an Internship:
1. Search in Navigator (SHU's database for full time positions and internships). Search by keyword, industry, and job function. Sign up for On Campus Interviewing here.
2. Use Alumni Pirate Mentors in Navigator. Alumni are waiting to hear from you! Types of interactions can include: job shadowing, resume help, interviewing, learning about industries and companies, or helping you find an internship!
3. Check your web mail under the community tab and click on Career Center Resources. Links to resume and interviewing help. Start using internships.com.
