Looking for a way to offer programs that will keep your students engaged in career exploration during the quietest, darkest month of the academic year? The EACE Road Trips to the Real World has come to the rescue!
We are pleased to present this year's "Road Trips to the Real World" program -- a series of FREE employer site visits for your students during the winter break. WE NEED YOUR HELP to promote this exciting program to your students! Attached to this email are promotional flyers, and a student email template. Online registration begins December 2nd (Tuesday) at 10 am and Ends on Friday, December 12th. Spots fill up VERY quickly for some of the more popular sites, so please get the word out as soon as you can and tell your students to register early for the best selection.

Each of the Road Trips is planned by the employer and staffed by a member of the EACE Road Trips Committee. Site visits may include panel discussions of employees and/or interns, site tours, or networking sessions. The programs are free for students; however, they must provide their own transportation to and from the site.
Once registered for a site, students will receive instructions to RSVP, prior to December 19th to confirm they plan to attend. As always, NO-SHOWS AND LATE CANCELLATIONS ARE STRONGLY DISCOURAGED and we ask that you help us impress upon your students the importance of this.

WBGO 88.3 FM radio is looking for interns to work at the radio station during the spring semester '09 and future semesters.

The internship is for college credit only. During the length of the internship, students will be allowed to go on field assignments with reporters, operate digital editing equipment, interview guests for the various news shows that are broadcasted, e.g. "The WBGO Journal" "Newark Today with Mayor Cory Booker" etc., and do on-air news broadcasts. Students will also get a chance to work in other departments at the radio station, e.g.: advertising, marketing, news room, etc.

Clear Channel Internship


Clear Channel Online Music & Radio Internship - New York, NY

Interns MUST be eligible to receive college credit to qualify for the internship.
Undergraduates only!!
Additionally, each applicant must be willing to dedicate a minimum of 15 hours a week for the duration of the semester.
Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel and ability to navigate the Internet is a must!
Experience with and knowledge of social networking sites (MySpace, Facebook, iLike, purevolume, etc.) is preferred.
An interest in new/digital media, marketing/promotions, writing, and all genres of music is a plus.
Looking for self-starters who are highly motivated, organized and web-savvy. Must be able to work independently as well as in a team-oriented atmosphere.
About Our Company Clear Channel Online Music & Radio, a division of Clear Channel Radio (Z100, KTU), is looking for motivated college students to intern within the Digital Marketing and Social Platforms department. Interns will be working with two important projects. The first is NEW!, an online and on-air platform that exposes unsigned and developing artists’ music on over 400 radio station websites across the country.
The second is iheartmusic.com, Clear Channel Radio’s music and entertainment portal.
This position will provide high exposure to all aspects of the music industry, particularly in the areas of online marketing, programming, digital media, editorial and music content.
